Electronic digital signature (EDS) can be saved on the following storage facilities:

- filesystem - choosing this medium, key and registration certificate will be stored on your personal computer in the form of files; 

- Kaztoken - choosing this medium, key and registration certificates will be stored on the external safeguard medium of key information, secure by PIN-code;

- E-Token - when selecting this item, the keys and registration certificates will be stored on an external secure medium of key information protected by a pin code. The advantage of this place of storage is the impossibility of copying private keys, the disadvantage is the need to purchase a medium.

 - AKEY -  when selecting this option, the keys and registration certificates will be stored on an external secure medium of key information protected by a pin code. The advantage of this place of storage is the impossibility of copying private keys, the disadvantage is the need to purchase a medium.

 - JaCarta -  when selecting this option, the keys and registration certificates will be stored on an external secure medium of key information protected by a pin code. The advantage of this place of storage is the impossibility of copying private keys, the disadvantage is the need to purchase a card reader.

- EDS on sim-card - when you select this medium, the keys and registration certificates will be stored on the sim-card of your phone. You can buy the corresponding sim-card in the sales departments of mobile operators.

- ID card - in order to save EDS on chip of your ID card (for individuals), address the nearest branch of State corporation "Government for citizens" (PSC) and bring your ID card. For further work with EDS on ID card it's necessary to buy a card reader. Read more details about it on this page.

EDS validity period – 1 year applies only to the file system. If the EDS keys are written to protected media (ID card, Kaztoken, Etoken, Akey, JaCarta), the validity period will be 3 years.

Procedure of online application to issue EDS consists of 4 steps:
